M. E. Moore

Pastor Marvin E. Moore was born in July of 1954, in the city of Port Arthur, Texas. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1972, he attended Lamar University where He studied Business Accounting at which time he was also employed at a local refinery.

In 1985, Pastor Moore received and acknowledged his call to ministry. He knew, before he could successfully fulfill the Call to Minister the Gospel, he needed to be trained. In September of 1986, Pastor Moore, along with His wife and daughter, relocated to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where he attended Rhema Bible Training Center.

After graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1988, Pastor Moore and his family relocated to Georgia where he began the process of serving in Ministry. It was during this time he sensed a divine call to return to Port Arthur, Texas; to establish a church that would teach believers the Word of God and how to receive the abundant life Jesus purchased for them at the Cross. On October 14, 1990 Pastor Moore, with the assistance of his wife Lois and his daughter Marva, founded Harvest Time Bible Church.

The vision of HTBC is Winning in Life Through the Word. Pastor Moore is absolutely convinced and fully persuaded that The Word works For Those Who Work the Word! Pastor Moore is honored as he continues to Pastor the loving, spirit filled, growing congregation of Harvest Time Bible Church.
